Founded by the world's largest Catholic fraternity, the Knights of Columbus Museum primarily features exhibits and artifacts pertaining to the religion and art of the Knights themselves. Displays educate on such topics as Knights' founder Father Michael J. McGivney (currently under consideration for sainthood by the Vatican), namesake Christopher Columbus, and the time-line of the organization from its founding in 1882 to the present day. The museum occupies a strange, angular building in the heart of New Haven, just two blocks from the Supreme Council office.
