Sprawled across several buildings on the Yale campus, the Yale University Art Gallery houses a sizable collection, ranging from early Italian painting to African sculpture to one of the the finest assemblages of American decorative arts in the world. Its main building lies near the southwest corner of New Haven Green. Yale University Art Gallery is considered the oldest college art museum in the country.
