Shubert Theater is an historic theatrical venue that serves the New Haven community with an array of cultural events, ranging from touring Broadway productions to ballet to concert events. It occupies an elegant,1,600-seat building in the heart of the city, down the street from Yale University and the New Haven Green. Past productions there include the Rat Pack Live at the Sands, the Moscow Ballet company's Giselle, and Doubt, starring Cherry Jones.
