The food at this restaurant is truly awful. We dine out a lot and and had heard negative comments about this restaurant, however, a party was being held there so we had to attend. There were 17 of us and the waitstaff was very attentive. When the food came it was clear that many items were not fresh. We are not a table of complainers (mother's 85th birthday so we didn't want to say anything). We should have listened when we were told not to go here. Bill was over $700 and did not include tip. We're not big drinkers. It was not crowded at all and is on the water so you tell me why no one was there

Sage is in City Point neighborhood, at the south end of Howard Avenue. Howard can be called Murder Street in the summer time, so go to sage by car. Once you're in this beautiful neighborhood away from the B.S., you'll see the harbor. You'll eat your ginormous $10 burger with your homemade fries and glass of house red and look out the panoramic window at New Haven Harbor. My fiancee and I witnessed a raging lightning storm from our table, all warm and cozy. Then a jazz trio kicked in downstairs.

Food was wonderful. Have tuna sushi, was the best I ever had. Service was just as good as the food. Waiters smiled, and even enjoyed waiting on you. Wasn't rushed sat there all night. View was excellent. Can't say enought about it. AAA+++
